Time: 2 months (July - Sept 2020)

Role: UI/ UX Designer

Team: Zach S, Michael L, Alex F

Sizigi provides an e-Portfolio platform for professionals to showcase work in a more candid way.

The challenge —

Redesign a more user-friendly landing page for an ePortfolio product.

The outcome —

A website that offers more visuals, social proofs, and updated content.

(Now live at joinsizigi.com)

1/ Objective

— Worked with the CTO, Director of Marketing, and other Design Intern for iterations and feedback

— Worked with the HR Interns to analyze user research and pain points

— Created high-fidelity prototypes for the landing page using the updated branding guideline

2/ User Research

A survey on the usability of Sizigi's ePortfolio was sent to a mix of stakeholders, including active users and potential customers, which received 20 responses.

Findings —

Different interpretations of the word “ePortfolio”—The commonly used term for the creative industry led to concerns about the flexibility of the product.

Group 638.png

Confusion about the functions of the product — It was not clear to users how Sizigi’s product works and how it helps with the recruiting process.

Negative reactions to colors— The current color combination was eye-straining, resulting in the need for an updated branding guideline.
